Just great service from this company!The unit works well, small and compact well laid out.I would like the screen to stay on so I can monitor charging. Be nice if the 288 would shut itself off after it has charged something.I camp in all seasons and wonder how well it will work in mid winter?I hike and tow a small trailer behind me over some tough ground. So hope it stands up to these conditions.

This is a perfect addition to any situation that needs clean, quiet, and safe power. Whether offshore, camping, overlanding, or hunting, the River 288 Power Station with the solar panel is hard to beat. Will easily power my laptop, cellphones, and hotspot through at least 3-4 cycles.

I purchased this primarily to use while camping to power my CPAP. I was able to run my CPAP (a ResMed AirSense 10) for 2 nights with the humidifier and heated hose running as normal. The River Portable definitely is a great purchase not only for my CPAP but also for other devices. Might invest in some solar panels if I go for longer camping trips. I now use the River at home as a battery backup of sorts for my CPAP so I can be confident it will stay powered even if there's a power failure.

I purchased the RIVER Power Station for power outages at home. I live in a heavily-wooded area and it's not uncommon for the power to go out during storms. I specifically bought it to keep my cable modem and wireless router powered during outages. I'm estimating approximately 30 hours of power for internet use. Of course, it will be less than that if I also charge my other devices. I'm very happy with it, so far. I have it next to my recliner and leave it plugged into the wall so I can use it as a charging station for all my devices.
