The world’s largest solar panel mural is located at the SunRise Residential project in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
Recognized by Guinness World Records as the largest solar panel artwork, the mural—titled “The Land We Share”—was created by Indigenous artist Lance Cardinal. Spanning more than 30,000 square feet across 12 stories, it blends Indigenous and Chinese cultural symbolism into a single striking design.

Beyond its artistic impact, the installation provides over 265 kW of clean, renewable power, helping supply energy to the building and reducing carbon emissions by approximately 150 tons each year.
