Paris Agreement 2025 Climate Change Update

Despite global efforts since the 2015 Paris Agreement, Earth has continued to warm. The decade from 2015 to 2024 is the hottest on record, with temperatures rising about 0.3°C. Each year since 2015 has been warmer than the last, and signs show the planet is still heating.

Global warming now costs the world about $1.4 trillion annually in damages. All countries remain committed to the Paris Agreement except the United States.
