eco-Problem
Transportation has become one of the biggest sources of GHG emissions globally, in Canada, and in major cities like Toronto. In 2019, transportation emissions accounted for 36% of Toronto’s emissions with the majority coming from gasoline used in passenger cars and trucks.
ecoMVMNT Solution
Toronto has set a target of a 65% reduction of GHG emissions by 2030 and net zero emissions by 2050. To achieve these goals Torontonians and other parts of Ontario (major cities) must seek out new transportation alternatives to reduce these GHG targets, i.e. E-Bikes.
Proudly Canadian and founded in 2009 with headquarters in Toronto, Emmo is a pioneer in personal light electric vehicles (LEVs) and its goal is to build a greener community toward a zero-emission future. To date, Emmo has sold over 500,000 LEVs and is very focused on supporting the efforts of Toronto and other major cities in Ontario to dramatically reduce transportation GHG emissions.
ecoMVMNT has given Emmo the Environmental Seal of Approval for their leadership in Canada for reducing GHG emissions thanks to their comprehensive line-up of light electric vehicles (LEV). Emmo continues to invest in R&D in redefining powered energy-efficient non-GHG mobility for a cleaner future.
