Off-Road Hydrogen

There’s the traditional gas vehicle, soon to be passed by the electric vehicle, and now coming in your rearview mirror and accelerating fast is clean fuel energy ‘hydrogen’.  Hydrogen can be produced from a variety of domestic resources, i.e. biomass and renewable power like solar and wind.

Extreme E (Electric) is a radical racing series that’s planning to launch a global Hydrogen Championship in 2024 called “Extreme H”, which will race in the same locations as Extreme E.  A hydrogen fuel cell will replace the battery and the green hydrogen will be used to power the Extreme H.

In some countries, electric vehicles are already surpassing gas-oil vehicles but you may start to see in the near future hydrogen fuel playing a key role in energy transportation and competing against BEVs for first place.
