DID YOU KNOW - Air Pollution = Human Deaths
Air pollution produced by fossil fuel combustion is a major hazard to human health and was responsible for an estimated 8.7 million premature deaths worldwide in 2018. Death rates were especially high in Eastern Asia, where an average of 30.7 percent of adult deaths were directly attributed to the burning of fossil fuels such as coal. In China and India, there were an estimated 3.9 million and 2.5 million deaths attributed to fossil fuel.
